His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received Dr. Hratch Kouyoumjian, Chair of the Supreme Council of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADL).

The meeting was an opportunity to give a general overview on the current situation in Armenia and the challenges faced by the Diaspora.

Dr. Kouyoumjian briefed His Holiness on the ADL’s recent appeals to his people, especially regarding strengthening the internal unity. His Holiness underlined the imperative of the latter, and stressed that the relations between the Catholicosate and the ADL will continue to prosper for the sake of the nation.
