On Wednesday, May 4^th, 2022, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received a delegation from the Lebanese National Liberal Party, headed by Camille Dory Chamoun.

During the meeting they discussed issues pertaining to the Lebanese internal affairs, socio-economic situation and the upcoming parliamentary elections. His Holiness welcomed the guests, reminiscing that the Catholicosate of Cilicia and President Camille Nimr Chamoun, who has served as President of Lebanon from 1952 to 1958, have had friendly relations. He also expressed hope that the parliamentary elections would open a new page in the Lebanese life.
