CAHL – Armenian Elderly Home

CAHL, which stands for Centers for the Armenian Handicapped in Lebanon, currently it functions as an elderly home and rest house. It is a humanitarian center founded in the village of Ghazir in 1923, and moved to its present location in Bourj Hammoud in 1946.

Besides serving the old, it is also school and home for those with learning disabilities, and vision and hearing disabilities. Those in need, receive shelter, food and medical care in the center.

The center is run jointly by the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia and the Armenian Evangelical Church.
