Theological and ministerial formation of pastors was the integral part of the Seminary’s curriculum. Taking into consideration the differences of age and educational background of the candidates, who come from different dioceses, His Holiness Aram I decided in 2004 to establish a special training center in Antelias for those who want to serve as pastors in parishes.

The program extends over three years. Its curriculum includes courses in theology with special emphasis on biblical, exegetical, ethical, pastoral and liturgical studies. Those students who will serve in the U.S.A. and Canada, also follow courses at the Near East School of Theology.
