The choir of the Armenian Theological Seminary was inaugurated as Armash in 2011 by then
Dean of the Seminary His Eminence Archbishop Nareg Alemezian and with the blessing of
His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. The choir was named after the Armash Monastery in
Nicosia, constructed in 1416.

Alongside the choir’s proficiency in chanting the Divine Liturgy, Armash offers its audience
a repertoire of religious and Armenian traditional and folk songs during its solo concerts, as
well as during various local festivals and events.
