On Saturday, January 22^nd, 2022, the Armenian Genocide Commemoration Body of the Hamazkayin Regional Committee of Lebanon visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and presented the outline of their events asking for His Holiness’ blessing, who welcomed their initiative and commended their efforts.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Commemoration Committee will shed light on post-genocidal productions through memory, art and the pursuit of justice, for which experts as well as the young generation will gather and analyze the cultural and psychological damages of the Genocide and the impact of the trauma resulted from it that have been depicted through art productions.
