On Monday, November 20th, 2023, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I conducted a series of consecutive meetings with representatives from the following organizations at the Armenian Prelacy of the Eastern USA:

1. The Karagheusian Foundation Committee – they discussed the activities of the Foundation’s chapters in Lebanon and Syria. His Holiness commended Karagheusian’s contributions to the life of Armenian communities and urged the committee to persist in their financial support with renewed energy.
2. The Board of Trustees of the Armenian Sanatorium of Azounieh – they discussed the recent and upcoming projects of the Sanitorium. Commending the work of the new Board of Trustees, His Holiness encouraged them to, along with the monthly grant, also finance the important programs of the hospital.
3. The Near East Foundation – It is worth noting that the Antelias Orphanage, established following the Armenian Genocide during WWI, belonged to the Near East Foundation, and in 1930, with a symbolic sum, it was transferred to the Holy See of Cilicia. His Holiness highly commended the support and ongoing cooperation of the Foundation with the Holy Seat.
4. The Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation of Eastern USA – His Holiness Catholicos Aram I outlined the Holy See of Cilicia’s endeavors concerning the Artsakh issue. During the meeting, the importance of reorganization of the Armenian community was emphasized.
