His Holiness Catholicos Aram I met with the participants of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s International Youth Conference and blessed them on Thursday morning, July 27th, 2023. Notably, the launching of this conference, organized by the Lebanese Youth Association (LYA) Central Committee of the ARF, took place in Bikfaya on the same day, with attendees coming from the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Following addresses by the ARF Bureau member Hovsep Der Kevorkian, Lebanese Central Committee member Tavit Kazandjian, and ARF LYA Central Committee member Lilitte Nalbandian, His Holiness offered his remarks.
Aram I commended the dedication exhibited in putting together this conference and the participation of youth from around the world, who gathered to discuss their role in the Armenian context, particularly in the preservation of the Armenian culture and identity. His Holiness emphasized the power of the youth in addressing global challenges and encouraged them to voice their opinions in all circumstances, shedding light on the new challenges facing Armenians in their homeland and the diaspora. The Catholicos urged the older generation to learn from the youth, just as the rising generation learns from the wisdom of past experiences.
