On Saturday, September 30th, 2023, His Holiness Catholicos Aram received the representative of His Beatitude Youhana X Yaziji, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Right Rev. Archimandrite Jack Khalil, who is also the Dean of the St John of Damascus Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand. In attendance were the Dean of the Armenian Theological Seminary, V. Rev. Fr. Barouyr Sherenzian, and the Director of the Middle East section of the Ecumenical Relations Department, V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian.

In their meeting, they discussed the possibility of collaboration between their respective seminaries and explored opportunities for cooperation between the Armenian Seminary and the University of Balamand.

Later in the day, His Holiness hosted a visit from Mr. Sam Simonian, the founder of TUMO – Center of Creative Technologies, along with his family. They talked about TUMO’s ongoing initiatives and the possibility of establishing a center similar to that of TUMO in Lebanon.
