On Thursday, August 10th, 2023, a delegation from the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.
During the meeting, His Holiness condemned the burning of the Quran in Sweden and emphasized the importance of strengthening the foundations of Christian-Muslim coexistence and dialogue.
On this occasion, His Holiness shed light on the current humanitarian crisis in Artsakh due to the Artsakh blockade. He stated that Armenians expect Iran to continue working towards lifting the blockade and saving the lives of 120,000 Armenians.
