On Easter Eve, April 8th, 2023, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I presided over the Easter Vigil (Jrakaluyts) service conducted during the Divine Liturgy celebrated by V. Rev. Fr. Sdepanos Pashayan, at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral.
At the end of the service, the grand sacristan lit a candle from the altar and handed it over to the Catholicos, who, along with the Brotherhood and the faithful, recited the Resurrection Hymn. Subsequently, the pontifical procession moved to the atrium of the Catholicosate where His Holiness conduced Blessing of the Home service
Finally, the faithful enjoyed resurrection hymns and songs played by ACUSA members, before taking the light of the resurrection home with them.
