On Monday, January 16^th, 2023, the board of Khatchig Babigian Publication Fund met in Antelias, presided by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. In attendance were: Yervant Pamboukian, Prof. Ashod Melkonian, Shahan Kandaharian, Khatchig Dedeyan, and Khatchig Der Ghougasian joined online.  

His Holiness Aram I made a general evaluation of the latest publications by the fund and emphasized the importance of backing research projects on contemporary topics.

Subsequently, the discussion of the board focused on organizing events on the occasion of the centennial of the Treaty of Lausanne and reached the following consensus: translating Prof. Rupen Safrasdian’s work on the Turkish Republic of Kemal Ataturk into English; publishing Dr. Houda Fahes’s thesis on Turkish-Armenian relations; and publishing research on the Armenian cultural genocide.

The board of Khachig Babigian Publication Fund is open to accepting historical and political research materials in Armenian and foreign languages from Armenia, Artsakh and the Armenian diaspora. It also organizes conferences for special jubilee occasions.
