Per tradition, the Catholicosate’s Sunday School commences its school year with paying a visit to His Holiness Catholicos Aram I to receive his pontifical blessings and exhortations.    

As such, on November 6th, 2022, following the Divine Liturgy, the director of the Sunday School Ms. Janine Tanielian led the students and teachers to the atrium of the Catholicosate of Cilicia to meet with His Holiness Aram I.

After the opening remarks by Ms. Tanielian and singing of hymns and reciting psalms by the students, His Holiness delivered his speech, where he emphasized the crucial role of Sunday Schools in providing Christian education to young generations and in developing a relationship with God. He also commended the efforts of the teachers, who have voluntarily committed to the mission entrusted to them, and the parents, for directing their children to the house of God.
