With the blessing of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, H.E. Arch. Shahan Sarkissian, director of the Cilicia Library, participated at the “Heritage Preservation for a Sustainable Future” International Conference, dedicated to the 510th anniversary of Armenian Printing, held at the National Library of Armenia on September 28-29, 2022, in Yerevan, and presented a paper on the Holy See’s rich history and current state in the field of print publication.

It is noteworthy that the Cilicia Library and the National Library of Armenia continue their cooperation following the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in 2021.

During the two-day conference, the Russian speaking presenters were provided with the Russian translation of His Holiness Aram I’s “The Armenian Church.”
