THE SHNORHALI CHOIR REPEATS ITS ARMENIAN PATRIOTIC SONGS’ CONCERT IN BOURDJ HAMOUD

After the successful concert in Rabiew and at the suggestion of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, which was echoes by many, the Shonorhali Choir of the Catholicosate of Cilicia performed at the Bourdj Hamoud square, on Saturday, May 28th, 2022, on the anniversary of the independence of the First Republic of Armenia.   

 

The concert was under the auspices of the Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Lebanon Archbishop Shahe Panossian and was presided by the mayor of Bourdj Hamoud and his wife Mr. Mardig and Mrs. Alice Boghossian.

 

Mrs. Maral Mkhsian addressed the audience with the opening remarks and welcomed to the stage the conductor of the choir V. Rev. Fr. Zaven Najarian, who delivered his heartfelt speech on the occasion.

 

At the conclusion of an hour-long concert of Armenian patriotic songs–which cheered the crowd who were singing along and waving the Armenian flag in honor of Armenian heroes and the martyrs–Arch. Shahe Panossian took the stage and applauded the choir for their amazing performance.
