On Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, a long meeting was held between His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and Dr. Joanna Wronecka, UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, at the Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias.

They discussed matters pertaining to the current situation in Lebanon, especially following the parliamentary elections, and to the possibilities of alleviating the socio-economic crisis in the country through the cooperation between the Lebanese sects.

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I stressed the imperative of prioritizing the resolution of the socio-economic crisis and the role of the UN and fraternal countries in the matter.
