On Thursday, January 27th, 2022, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received respectively the newly elected committees of the Armenian Relief Cross of Lebanon (ARCL) and HomenetmenĀ Lebanon.

The ARCL committee was headed by Nelly Vekilian, representative of the Central Committee of the Armenian Relief Society and Silva Sabounjian, chair of the ARCL committee. They expressed their gratitude for His Holinessā support on their projects, especially regarding the financial contribution for their aid program to families in need. They also briefed His Holiness on their future plans.

The Homenetmen Lebanon Regional Committee was headed by the chair of the Committee Haig Tabakian, who briefed His Holiness on their activities and challenges. He assured that Homenetmen will continue its mission despite the difficulties.Ā

The efforts of both organizations were greeted with commendation by the Catholicos, who also gave them his blessings.
