On Wednesday, November 3rd, a meeting was held between His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and Dr. Harald Rein, Bishop of the Old Catholic Church in Switzerland, in Geneva. The aim of the visit was to examine the course of the ongoing discussions between the two Churches on contemporary socio-ethical issues, as well as the possibilities of cooperation with the University of Bern on a number of projects. Prof. Teny Piri-Simonian, the Ecumenical representative of the Catholicosate in Geneva, was in attendance at the meeting.
