On Sunday, October 31st, 2021, His Holiness Aram I received Antoine Laham, the Assistant to the Special UN Envoy to Syria, during his stay in Geneva.
Laham welcomed His Holiness in Geneva on behalf of the Special UN Envoy to Syria, and discussed issues pertaining to the current situation in Syria, the possibilities of re-establishing its sovereignty and security, as well as the United Nation’s perspectives on the matter. The two also talked about the Armenian community in Syria.
