His Holiness Catholicos Aram I has bestowed upon philanthropist Yercho Samuelian the Knight of Cilicia insignia, at the request of the Prelate of Lebanon, Archbishop Shahe Panossian. This honor is a token of appreciation for Samuelian’s longstanding dedication to the Armenian Community and Church.
In a pontifical encyclical issued on this occasion, His Holiness praises Samuelian’s noble deeds, extending heartfelt wishes for his continued prosperity and asking Godās blessings upon him and his family.
Samuelian’s generosity has left a lasting mark on the community, notably through his financial support for the construction of the prelacy and his invaluable contributions to social services, including the Birdsā Nest Orphanage and Zvartnots Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation, among other endeavors.
