On Thursday, March 7^th, 2024, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received the Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Magoshi Masayuki.

This was the Ambassador’s inaugural visit to the Catholicosate. During the meeting, His Holiness provided an overview of the Holy See of Cilicia, shedding light on its mission and departments, as well as briefed on the history of the Lebanese Armenian community and its contribution to the country. Additionally, he highlighted the challenges faced by educational, social, and cultural institutions within the community, particularly in the socio-economic context.
