His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, along with his pontifical delegation—comprising the prelate of the UAE and Qatar, HG Bp. Mesrob Sarkissian, HE Arch. Oshagan Tcholoyan, members of the Cilician Brotherhood, and representatives of the Armenian community—visited the Ohannesian Armenian School in Sharjah as part of their pontifical visit to the UAE.

Upon his arrival, His Holiness received a warm welcome. Following the tradition of blessing salt and bread, he entered the school and was greeted by the principal, teachers, board of trustees, and students. The principal delivered the welcoming remarks, and the students presented a special showcase in honor of His Holiness’s visit.

During the visit, the Prelate, Bp Mesrob, delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing commendation for the school’s efforts in preparing the rising generation of the community.

His Holiness Catholicos Aram also addressed the gathering, urging the students to continue embracing the values of Armenian identity and preserving their culture. He commended the teachers for their dedication and thanked the parents for their trust.

The visit concluded with the rendition of the ‘Cilicia’ anthem and a school tour.
