His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, accompanied by Cilician brotherhood priests, visited the Armenian Elderly Home – CAHL on December 19th, 2023. Located in Bourdj Hamoud, the purpose of the visit was to bring Christmas and New Year joy to the elderly residents.

The Catholicos and priests were warmly welcomed by the Home’s director, Pastor Sebouh Terzian, the Board of Trustees, and the Women’s Committee, alongside the elderly residents. Festive activities followed, including the singing of national songs by the priests. Pastor Terzian expressed gratitude for the support, both financial and moral, provided by Catholicos Aram I during challenging times.

In his heartfelt speech, Catholicos Aram I underscored the historical commitment of the church to serve the Armenian community. He highlighted the Elderly Home as a tangible expression of this commitment, offering health care, love, and filial affection to the elderly.

His Holiness Aram I assured continued support from the Catholicosate and commended the dedicated efforts of the director, guardianship, Women’s Committee, as well as the medical staff, benefactors, donors, and friends contributing to the mission.
