With pontifical blessing, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I extended a warm congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of the Republic of Artsakh, Samuel Shahramanian, on Monday, September 11th, 2023, and expressed hope that Shahramanian would assume his responsibilities with renewed faith and work towards lifting the Artsakh blockade and pursuing Artsakh’s right to self-determination during these critical times.
The Catholicos expressed the solidarity of the Holy See of Cilicia with Artsakh and its courageous people and prayed that God grants peace and prosperity to the Armenians of Artsakh.
