On Wednesday, June 21^st, 2023, the first full meeting of the World Council of Churches Central Committee following the WCC 11th Assembly in Karlsruhe commenced in Geneva, Switzerland, and will conclude on June 27^th. H.E. Arch. Nareg Alemezian and V. Rev. Fr. Hrant Tahanian, who were elected as members of the Central Committee, participate in this meeting on behalf of the Armenian Church Holy See of Cilicia, and with the blessing of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.

Notably, His Holiness Aram I, who has served as moderator for two consecutive terms (1991-1998-2005), is one of the Presidents of the Central Committee representing the Oriental Orthodox Church Family.
