HIS HOLINESS CATHOLICOS ARAM I MEETS WITH KUWAITI ARMENIAN YOUTH

His Holiness Catholicos Aram I met with over 80 young Kuwaiti Armenians on Friday evening, May 12th, within the framework of his pontifical visit to Kuwait, to listen to their concerns, share his thoughts on the role of youth in the revitalization process of the Armenian Diaspora and reiterate his support for active youth involvement in the decision-making process of their community.

The opening speech was delivered by Hagop Emrazian—the youngest representative of the National Representatives Assembly. Subsequently, a dialogue commenced between the Catholicos and the youth on Armenia, Artsakh, the Armenian Diaspora, technology and its impact on identities and cultures, youth leadership, and church-youth relations.

At the end of the event, the pontifical vicar in Kuwait, V. Rev. Fr. Bedros Manualian delivered the closing remarks where he thanked the Catholicos for the opportunity on behalf of the youth.
