On behalf of the Armenian Church, Catholicosate of Cilicia, V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian­—Director of the Middle East section of the Ecumenical Department, and V. Rev. Fr. Arakel Kadehjian participated in the 50^th-anniversary ceremony of the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon and the launching of a special publication dedicated to the occasion, on March 31^st, 2023. His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II—the Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church, and high-ranked spiritual heads and community leaders were present at the event.  

On April 6^th, the 10^th anniversary of the abduction of Archbishops of Aleppo, the Greek Orthodox Boulos Yazigi, and the Orthodox Syrian Mar Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim was marked in Beirut, organized by the Liqaa al Orthodoxy. On behalf of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian participated in the event.
