On Thursday, March 30th, 2023, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received the Executive Board of Project Watan consisting of Board President MP Neemat Frem, and members Dr. Habib Malek, Hassan Al-Husseini, Dr. Asaad Eid, Antoine Kalaydjian, Eddy Khalaf Esq., Antoine Kalaydjian, and Tanie Tabet.
Project Watan is an initiative aimed at building a country of freedom, sovereignty, and productive coexistence.
The Executive Board briefed His Holiness on their projects. In turn, His Holiness welcomed their initiative and stressed the imperative of adopting realistic approaches and determining priorities in light of the current situation in Lebanon. The Catholicos used the opportunity to underline the urgency of electing a president and restoring the socio-economic life in Lebanon and emphasized that the authorities must prioritize the matter.
