On Saturday, June 18^th, 2022, Rev.  Dr. Paul Haidostian, president of the Haigazian University, visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.

Rev. Dr. Haidostian shared with His Holiness his recent appointment as Interim President of the Union of the Armenian Evangelic Churches in the Near East after the former president Mgrditch Karageozian’s retirement, while continuing his position as the chairperson of the Union’s Central Council. He also briefed the Catholicos on the recent academic year of the Haigazian University, and finally, extended to His Holiness an invitation to the 175^th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Armenian Evangelical Church, taking place in Yerevan on July 1^st.

His Holiness warmly praised Rev. Dr. Haidostian’s service to the community, and expressed hope that the cooperation between the Armenian Evangelical Church and the Holy See of Cilicia will persist and evolve.
