On Thursday morning, June 9th, 2022, the graduating students of the Armenological Center of the Catholicosate of Cilicia received their certificates, by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.

Following the distribution of the certificates, His Holiness made a short speech and congratulated the fours graduates: Araxy Khrimian Achabahian, Avedis Asayan, Nver Elkhatyan Achabahian and Verjine Saatjian, as well as the director of the Center, Aharon Shekherdemian, and the lecturers. He underlined the importance of Armenological departments, especially the ones working with the Western Armenian language, stressing that the endangered Western Armenian will survive only if it is passed on through generations. He ensured that the Catholicosate will continue its mission and next year new topics will be introduced in the program.

The Director of the Center, Aharon Shekherdemian also delivered his remarks and expressed gratitude to the Catholicos and to all those who contribute in the mission of the Armenological Center, and Verjine Saatjian delivered a thank you speech on behalf of the students.
