The Iranian Cultural Center of the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon, in collaboration with the International Centre for Dialogue Among Civilizations (ICDAC), and as part of the Fajr Cultural Days, has organized a symposium dedicated to the cultural diversity, under the sponsorship of the Lebanese Minister of Culture Mohamed Mourtada, on Tuesday, March 1^st, 2022. V. Rev. Fr. Paren Vartian participated at the Symposium on behalf of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and read the message of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.

In his speech, His Holiness has underlined the imperative of coexistence in diverse cultures which requires dialogue based on mutual respect. He has shed light on Lebanon’s multicultural social structure, as well as the example of Armenian in Iran, where they are able to practice their religion and culture. Finally, His Holiness has emphasized the necessity of mutual understanding, the preservation of national identity and healthy dialogue.
