February 27th marks the 34th anniversary of the Sumgait pogroms committed by Azerbaijanis against the Armenians of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh) that lasted for three days. In commemoration of the fallen victims, a requiem service was held on Sunday, February 27th, 2022, at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias, following the Divine Liturgy, under the high auspices of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. In attendance were the Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon Vahagn Atapekian, Defense Attaché Colonel Aleksan Museghian, and Secretary of the Embassy Stepan Krikorian.
