On Friday, December 3rd, 2021, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I extended a letter of congratulations to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the UAE National Day.

In his letter, His Holiness stressed that the Armenians of the UAE have always been part and parcel of the Emirates and have been welcomed as members of the prosperous nation and in turn contributed to its economic development.
