Thursday, November 11th, 2021, Dr. Ian Collard, the British Ambassador to Lebanon, visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.
During the course of the meeting, they discussed matters concerning the Middle East and Lebanon, and underlined the imperative of supporting Lebanon in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as for the government to resume its services and duties to cater to the needs of its people.
His Holiness welcomed the first step taken by the British Parliament towards recognizing the Armenian Genocide, and expressed his appreciation for Britain’s support of the Armenian cause.
