Friday, November 12th, 2021, the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Nicoletta Bombardiere visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the Lebanese Christian leadersā meeting held in Vatican in July, as well as the current challenges faced by Lebanon.
The Ambassador talked about the efforts of Italy in and for Lebanon, and in turn, the Catholicos acknowledged Italy for their aid, especially to the Lebanese Army and the humanitarian and health sectors. He also commended their support towards current projects in Bourj Hammoud – the Armenian neighborhood in suburban Beirut.
