On Thursday, March 25^th, 2021, Dr. Farid al-Khazen, Ambassador of Lebanon to the Holy See, visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, for the second time this week. During the previous meeting, given the close relations between the Catholicos and Vatican, the Ambassador had proposed extending a letter to the Vatican to describe the challenges facing Lebanon and offer some practical suggestions on the role of the Vatican.

His Holiness Aram I described the details of the letter and in turn Dr. al-Khazen informed Aram I on the meeting held between the President of the Republic of Lebanon and the Maronite Patriarch. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss matters pertaining the current situation in Lebanon and its political and economic consequences.
