In collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education at Haigazian University (HU), and with the blessing and patronage of His Holiness Aram I, the Armenian Theological Seminary organized a course titled “Psycho-Social Formation and Development of Skills.” The official opening of the course was held on Monday evening, November 25th, 2019, in the presence of His Holiness and the President of HU Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian.


The Dean of the Seminary V. Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian addressed the welcoming remarks and briefed on the program.


Subsequently, the President of Haigazian University Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian talked about the significance of continuing education and stressed the importance of fully benefiting from this opportunity of acquiring new skills.


Finally, His Holiness commended the initiative and reminded the Cilician Brothers on the vital importance of putting education in the service of the church and community, and added that education also implies being in a dialogue with others. The Catholicos stated that this course will contribute to the spiritual and intellectual formation of the Cilician Brothers.


Note that the course is composed of 10 sessions, and at the end of the eight-month program the participants will submit their final papers and receive certificates from Haigazian University.
