On Monday 16 December 2013, the President of the AEBU, Aram Malian, and committee members met with His Holiness Aram I to thank him for his presence at a dinner celebrating the 90th anniversary of Sahakian-Meguerditchian College. Parliamentarian Sebouh Kalpakian accompanied the delegation.

As always, such visits provide the opportunity for the guests and His Holiness to discuss issues related to the Armenian community. Catholicos Aram I spoke of the important role of Armenian schools in the diaspora and urged Armenian educational and benevolent organizations to assist them. He then thanked AEBU for their commitment to the Armenian School.
