In the honor of the participants of the international ecumenical consultation, held at the Catholicosate, a reception followed the closing remarks of the conference on the evening of Saturday, February 1^st, 2020, in the Main Hall of the Catholicosate. The participating ecumenists, the Cilician Brotherhood and the representatives of the Armenian Community were present at the reception.

His Holiness Aram I, addressing the audience, stressed the importance of ecumenism today, as well as the Catholicosate’s contribution in the ecumenical movement, and the significance of the consultation held in Antelias.

His Holiness continued his address by mentioning the names of four ecumenists who have served the ecumenical movement with great dedication. Prof. Teny Pirri-Simonian and Dr. Konrad Raiser (decorated in 2000 and 2003 respectively), and Bishop Dr. Soritua Nababan and Dr. Samuel Kobia, whom His Holiness decorated with the “St. Mesrob Mashdots” insignia at the end of the reception
