8 March 2016. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, His Holiness Aram I stated that throughout the ages Armenians have respected their women. In the context of the family, woman is mother, educator, keeper and transmitter of values; she sustains our hopes and visions. His Holiness stressed the idea that Armenian men must recognize our women as equal partners and Armenian women must see themselves as equal partners as well.
