His Holiness Catholicos Aram I closely monitors the concerning situation surrounding the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem through representatives of the World Council of Churches (WCC) based in Geneva and Jerusalem.

According to a message released by the Patriarchate, attached below, approximately 30 unidentified individuals attacked the congregation and the Patriarchate’s office in protest against the legal actions taken regarding “Govery Bardez,” resulting in injuries and property damage.

As always, the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia extends its unwavering support to the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Armenian community. It urges the people to stand firm in safeguarding the rights and security of the Patriarchate.
