On Tuesday, November 21^st, 2023, a meeting was held between His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, Permanent Observer of The Holy See to The United Nations.

Having prior acquaintance with His Holiness, the meeting lasted approximately two hours in a friendly atmosphere. Discussions prominently featured the Artsakh issue, along with the Lebanese presidential election and the strong relations between the Holy See of Cilicia and the Vatican.

The meeting provided an opportunity to understand the perspectives of His Holiness and the initiatives undertaken by the Catholicosate, as well as to gain insights into the Vatican’s approaches to the aforementioned issues.
