A delegation representing different committees, schools, and institutions operating under the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society in Lebanon, as well as representatives from the Armenian Relief Society and the Armenian General Union for Physical Education and Scouts (known as Homenetmen), visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I on September 4th, 2023 to request his blessings for the new Hamazkayin flag, which was created in celebration of its 95th anniversary.
At the end of the ceremony, Aram I commended Hamazkayin’s mission and wished them continued success. On behalf of Hamazkayin, Chair of the Central Committee, Mr. Zakar Keshishian expressed gratitude to His Holiness for his unwavering support.
