HIS HOLINESS CATHOLICOS ARAM I EXTENDS LETTERS OF SALUTATION TO THE PRIME MINISTERS OF CANADA AND GREECE

Upon his return to the Catholicosate of Cilicia in Antelias from his pontifical visit to the Armenian community in Canada, His Holiness extended a salutation letter to the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and expressed his warm commendation for his solidarity with the people of Artsakh and their right to self-determination, as well as for his positive affirmations towards the Armenian community in Canada.

Notably, His Holiness met with Prime Minister Trudeau two weeks ago.

On June 27th, His Holiness extended a salutation letter to the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, whose political party secured the most votes in the country’s national elections, and as such, he is serving as the Prime Minister of Greece for a second term. His Holiness wished the Prime Minster a prosperous term of service in Greece.

It is noteworthy that His Holiness and Prime Minster Mitsotakis met around two months ago, during His Holiness’ pontifical visit to Greece.
