On Monday, July 26th, 2021, the Hamazkayin Art Schools’ Summer Program students and teachers visited His Holiness Aram I, at St. Mary Monastery in Bikfaya, to receive his blessings.
In a friendly atmosphere, the students described to His Holiness their activities at the summer camp, and His Holiness, in turn, shared with them how he spends his day at the Catholicosate.
Divided in three groups and named after Armenian prominent cultural icons – Gomidas, Levon Shant and Toumanian – the students performed with songs, hymns and poems, and Nayiri Arnelian played the “Cilicia” on the duduk. His Holiness commended their performances and presented them with souvenirs.
After the meeting, the visitors toured the Monastery.
