The two Co-Chairs, Archbishop Yeznik Bedrossian (Holy See of Etchmiadzin) and Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian (Holy See of Cilicia) presided over the meeting. Archbishop Yeznik opened the meeting with a prayer and then transmitted the greetings of the two Catholicoi. Ā
According to the recommendations of Catholicoi Karekin II and Aram I, the members of the committee discussed the basis on which the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 shall be raised to Sainthood. Ā
On Thursday May 9th, Ascension day and the national victory day, the members of the Committee assisted celebrations in Yerevan.
