Following the ACUSA Assembly held on the 26 July 2014, the new committee met with His Holiness Aram I to report on the Assembly and ask for his blessings. The Committee was accompanied by its newly appointed spiritual advisor, Rev.Nishan Lakhoyan.

Catholicos Aram I first of all praised the association members for their enthusiasm of and the members of the committee or their commitment; he urged them to organize activities that would inform students of Armenian spiritual and cultural values and encourage them to apply those values to their daily lives. He then assured them of his support and said, “Soon we will be commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and I expect our youth to play a major role at the national and international levels in advocating for justice.

The members of the new committee are: Ms Nazeli Kandaharian–Manoukian, Messrs Razmig Mikaelian and Levon Najarian, Ms Grace Ohanian and Ms Nare Sagherian.
