The Armenological Center commenced its 2024-2025 academic year at the Khoren Ayp Center in Fanar. The center currently has 39 students: 21 from Lebanon and 18 participating online from various countries, including Germany, Kuwait, Syria, Canada, the US, and Australia.
The Director, Aharon Shekerdemian, stated that the center will be a home for Armenians seeking knowledge and light. He emphasized that the students’ interest in Armenian studies is crucial for preserving Armenian identity and heritage. Shekerdemian also thanked His Holiness Catholicos Aram I for his long-standing support of the center, which serves as a key institution for maintaining the Armenian language and national values.
