On Thursday, August 29th, 2024, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received the Lebanese Ambassador to the Vatican, Dr. Farid el-Khazen.
Ambassador el-Khazen provided an update on the Vatican’s efforts to address Lebanon’s challenges and shared the positive reception of His Holiness’s recent lecture at the Vatican.
In turn, His Holiness Aram I shared his thoughts on Lebanon’s internal situation, followed by discussing potential solutions.
The meeting was also an opportunity to reflect on the recent visit of Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Parolin to Lebanon.
