On Tuesday evening, August 20th, 2024, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received His Beatitude Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI of the Armenian Catholic Church, who was accompanied by Bishop Robert (Krikor) Badichah, Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarchal Eparchy of Beirut.
In attendance with His Holiness were: H.E. Arch. Shahe Panossian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy in Lebanon; H.E. Arch. Shahan Sarkissian, Director of the Cilicia Library of the Catholicosate; V. Rev. Fr. Sdepanos Pashayan, Director of the Christian Education Department of the Catholicosate; V. Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian, Dean of the Armenian Theological Seminary; V. Rev. Fr. Hovagim Panjarjian, Director of the Information and Communication Department of the Catholicosate; and V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian—Officer of the Middle Eastern section of the Ecumenical and Inter-religious Relations Department of the Catholicosate.
During the meeting, they discussed issues concerning Armenians, Armenia, and Lebanon, emphasizing the imperative of strengthening unity among Armenians everywhere.
